March’s featured apple

Baxter’s Pearmain is an old variety originating from Norfolk, UK. Introduced by G Lindley of Catton, Norwich in 1821. This apple is a medium sized, conical fruit. Orange-red flush over a yellow skin. Juicy, cream coloured flesh. It has a good fruity, aromatic flavour. The tree is vigorous, and it is a medium cropper picking from early November.
